Where your electricity comes from — coal, nuclear and solar — asked the same six questions and answered at whatever depth suits you. Same facts every time; only the language changes.

Why the same six questions every time? Because that is the only honest way to compare. It is easy to make any source look good by choosing which question to ask about it — cost per hectare, jobs created, tonnes of anything. Fixing the questions, and fixing the basis at one megawatt, takes that choice away from whoever wrote the page. Where a figure is genuinely a range, it is shown as a range, and where it depends on a decision the engineers made, that decision is named.
